Call for Illustration Artists

In conjunction with a photography exhibition, opening this spring in New York, the Jewish Art Salon is looking for one illustrator to create work corresponding with the photography.

The illustrator should have at least some familiarity with the European ligne claire style. More info on ligne claire here: http://comicfoundry.com/?p=1526

Experience with graphic novels is a plus, but not required.

The exhibition will open in March 2013 and run for approximately three weeks; exact venue to be announced upon acceptance.

If interested, please send us your short bio, website and work samples by December 31st to jasimages18@gmail.com

Selected artists will receive more details about the contents and an invitation to illustrate a ‘test page’. The winner will be announced by January 31st.
The Jewish Art Salon will ship the work roundtrip, so out-of-town artists are encouraged to apply.
