A national Jewish art publication seeks images for its online gallery for the August & September issues.
Eligibility: artists who applied for membership in the Jewish Art Salon
I. August issue
Theme: artwork about the relationship between questions and liturgy/theology, or the role of seeking in Judaism.
You will be mentioned with a paragraph about your work and a link to your website.
How to apply:
- Email jpgs to jasimages18@gmail.com
- Please keep each jpg under 500 kb, if you can
- Save the images with your last name (e.g. schwartz.jpg).
- In subject line: "seeking"
- If you like, add a short description about the work in the email body; do not attach the text as a document.
Deadline: July 25. If the editor wants to publish your work she will contact you directly.

II. September issue
Theme: artwork focusing on first encounters and hayom harat ha-olam/Rosh Hashanah.
Note: they are not looking for traditional Rosh Hashanah images, but images related to hayom harat ha-olam which translates to "Today is the birthday of the world. Today the world is born".
Eligibility: artists who applied for membership in the Jewish Art Salon.
