New Shabbat table: Shabbat dinner with spirit!

Join Yona Verwer, president of the Jewish Art Salon, and co-hosts Theo Kisch of essencedating.com and Elyakeem Kinstlinger of thefullhit.com for a spirited Shabbat dinner with delicious vegetarian kosher food.

Verwer will share her Personal Torah Thoughts on the weekly Torah Portion of Ki Tavo and her Jewish Art World Stories. Meet new and old friends.

Our guest for this Shabbat will be artist Yona Verwer.

Dutch-born Verwer received her MFA in painting from the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, the Netherlands. She is an artist and curator; her upcoming co-curated exhibit is “Terror: Artists Respond”, in NYC. Featured in solo shows in the Netherlands and New York, her work has also appeared in in the New York Times, the New Yorker, the Daily News, the Forward, the Jewish Week and the Jewish Press.

She is the president & co-founder of the Jewish Art Salon in NYC and serves on the advisory boards of Art KibbutzNY, the International Jewish Art Colony, and Jewish Art Now.

This September her art will be featured in three exhibits: Embodied Light an installation with Tobi Kahn at the Ernest Rubinstein Gallery, NYC, the 9-11 Memorial Exhibit at the Reading JCC, PA and Terror: Artists Respond, at Industry City, Brooklyn.
